I most definitivly should. Almost two months since last time, and that was just about cakes. Silly cakes... More substantial posts to come soon.

When I am not sewing, hammering or gluing...

Being in the start up phase as a freelance prop builder and costume make in a rather small town is hard. There's just so many projects going on at any given time - and you are not on top of the producers list - simply just because of lack of experience. On top of that, not having a driver's license, limits my possibilities to offer my services elsewhere.

So what do I do? I fill the time doing something creative and completely different. Well, it might not be THAT completely different, just switched the tools and materials with something else; namely sugar, egg and flour.

Dimensionally Transcendental

Feel bigger on the inside today. No, it's not just because I've watched "Journey to the centre of the TARDIS" several times the last few days. I'm bubbling on the inside. So much I want to do - so many ideas. But the everyday things I have to do stops the fun plans. In the end, I just don't do anything...

Scrambled eggs?

A dear friend of mine is building a dalek these days. Don't know what a Dalek is? Shame on you, your pop cultural knowledge is severely lacking. I'll explain after the jump. Anyway, he's building one, a NSD to be correct - the one both of us think look the best of them all.

Time to make some costumes again.

Did have a clean up to figure out what we have and what we're missing of textiles for the Graaland project. 4 weeks for the deadline and I better hurry up to get the costumes done in time. A lot of wool, faux fur and pleather along with some other synthetic fabrics.

First studio set up

Did work as a scenographer for a Oslo based publisher earlier this fall. Colours! Colours everywhere!
